Can I Adjust My Eyes to Look at the Camera?

Learn how and where you can correct your gaze in the video

Updated this week

Ever record a video only to discover later that your eyes never met the lens? 👀 With Liro’s AI Eye Correction, your gaze will be laser-focused on the camera. More connection, less distraction!

Steps to Follow

You can process video in Liro in two simple ways, depending on where you're starting from:

Option 1: Starting fresh from the app home screen

  1. Open the app;

  2. Swipe up on the screen to open the shortcuts;

  3. Scroll down and tap on the AI Eye Correction:

  4. Pick a video from your phone’s gallery;

  5. Tap Start.

Option 2: Working with a video already in Liro

  1. Swipe down on the screen to close the shortcuts;

  2. Open the project by tapping on the needed video;

  3. Go to the AI tab;

  4. Select AI Eye Correction from the list;

  5. Click Start, close, and chill: yep, you can actually minimize Liro and walk away. Your video will keep improving in the background — this can take up to 8 minutes.

Note: If your video is higher than 1080p or shot in HDR, you may see a prompt asking you to confirm applying eye correction. Click Continue to proceed — but be aware it might make the effect look worse on these formats.

❌ To stop the gaze correction click Cancel and done!

That’s a wrap! While Liro perfects your stare, you can focus on nailing your script, planning your next viral bit 😎
