Can I Reframe My Video to Keep the Subject Centered?

Learn how and where you can auto-crop your video to stay perfectly focused

Updated this week

Let’s face it — people (and pets!) love to move. You start recording a brilliant moment, and suddenly your subject walks, jumps, or wiggles their way halfway out of the shot. Classic. 🙃 But don’t worry — Liro's got your back! With our AI Video Auto Crop feature, the camera may not follow the action... but the frame will!

Quick Steps to Perfect Framing

You can process video in Liro in two simple ways, depending on where you're starting from:

Option 1: Starting fresh from the app home screen

  1. Open the app;

  2. Swipe the shortcuts from right to left;

  3. Tap on the AI Video Auto Crop:

  4. Pick a video from your phone’s gallery;

  5. Choose your preferred format: 9:16, 4:5, or 1:1;

  6. Tap Start.

Option 2: Working with a video already in Liro

  1. Swipe down on the screen to close the shortcuts;

  2. Open the project by tapping on the needed video;

  3. Go to the AI tab;

  4. Select AI Video Auto Crop from the list;

  5. Choose your preferred format: 9:16, 4:5, or 1:1;

  6. Click Start, close, and chill: yep, you can actually minimize Liro and walk away. Your video will keep improving in the background — this can take up to 8 minutes.

❌ Changed your mind? Just press Cancel to undo the crop:

That’s it! While Liro nails the framing, you can relax 😎
